The Ethernet* Interface Module is to be installed in an I/O slot of the Range Free Multi-controller FA-M3. When installed, it allows the FA-M3 to connect with IEEE802.3 compliant networks (10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX), as well as send and receive electronic mails using SMTP or POP3 protocols.

Features
- Remote programming
Enables a user to create and maintain programs from a computer connected to the Ethernet network using FA-M3 Programming Tool WideField3.
- Electronic mails
Allows a user to transmit data such as values of sequence CPU devices using electronic mails. Further supports remote uploading/downloading of programs and sampling trace.
- 100 Mbps support
The module supports 100BASE-TX for fast transmission over a network, and automatically switches between 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps.

- Higher-level link service
